Thai temples located in the Bangkok area, namely:Wat Ratchabophit in Phra Nakhon Built-in the 1860s during the reign of King Rama V, Wat Ratchabophit is a Buddhist temple of great religious significance in Bangkok. It features a unique layout including a circular courtyard at the center of which stands a 43 meter-high gilded chedi built in Sri Lankan style. At the western end of the temple lies the royal cemetery which houses a number of monuments to members of the Thai royal family. |
