To commemorate the annual Asalha Bucha Day, which is held on the day of the full moon in July commemorating the first sermon of the Buddha given to the five monks in Sarnath. This mural at Wat Neramit Wipatsanah in Loei depicts the scene from the Mahosot Chadok in which the wise Mahosot confronts the attacking Indian armies, led by King Culani.
