Boudhanath Stupa, the largest domed Buddhist temple stands a couple of miles outside Kathmandu.  With its glittering golden tower, numerous prayer-wheels, brightly coloured sacred flags fluttering on ropes stretching on all sides from the top to the ground, the shrine is a place of immense interest to both Buddhist pilgrims and tourists.
