| Standing Buddha Wat Saphan Hin in Thailand | |
On its small 200 meters high hill, Saphan Hin temple is the more interesting and probably the only really remarkable one in the Sukhithai Historical Park forestry area (West sector). It is especially known for its 12.5 meters standing Buddha which stands in the few remains left of the temple housing it. Wat Saphan Hin - "Temple of the Rock Bridge" So named for the stone causeway up the hill to the temple. Sukhothai, Thailand.
