To commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the United Nations Organization, as well as the annual United Nations Day on October 24th, the day it officially came into existence in 1945, and which is celebrated annually around the world as UN Day. Stamp depicting Wat Phra Kaew in Bangkok, as well as the logo of the United Nations in white print. Wat Phra Kaew, commonly known in English as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and officially as Wat Phra Si Rattana Satsadaram, is regarded as the most sacred Buddhist temple in Thailand. The complex consists of a number of buildings within the precincts of the Grand Palace in the historical centre of Bangkok.
