Hindu-Mahayana Buddhist sanctuary in Nakhon Ratchasima in the amphur Phimai. The construction of this Khmer edifice in Angkorian style started under King Jayavarman V in the late 10th century and was completed during the rule of King Suriyavarman I in the first half of the 11th century. Hence the completion of this temple happened even before the construction of Angkor Wat. Stamps depicting the Prasat Hin Phimai: Naga-bridge; Brahmin Hall; Inner Wall Gopura; Main Sanctuary.
