Children’s Day

Drawings with the yellow silhouettes of the heads of a boy and girl facing each other and with both a closed and a half-open lotus flower in between them. There is also an open white lotus blooming on the side of each of the heads and some circular ornaments, as well as a golden floral motif at the top centre of the drawing, which represents an open lotus as seen from above. The background is blue with the colours of the Thai national flags behind the children's heads. The lotus is a symbol of intellect and Enlightenment, and as such the three lotuses in the centre can be described as levels of intelligence, at the beginning of study until graduation, from bud to full blooming lotus.
