Yandangshan Mountain - Guan Yin Cave

Yandangshan is a national forest park, national geopark, and UNESCO Global Geopark located in China's Zhejiang Province, Wenzhou City, Yueqing City, located in Yongjia county and parts of Wenling city. It is about 300 km away from Hangzhou and 70 kilometers from Wenzhou.

 It is a famous resort in China. Ever since Ming Dynasty it has been nicknamed the “famous Mountain by the sea" and boasting "the best scenery in China". In the 1930s, a German geologist wrote about this place, describing this mountain as beautiful as the mountains of Switzerland.

Yandangshan has many ancient caves used for worshipping Buddha in the past. Guanyin Cave and Beidou Cave are the most well-known ones.
