Stamps featuring the China Stamps exhibition in Bangkok
The Thailand stamp issued in 1997 featuring the mural of Wat Sri Ihyam in Bangkok depicts the scene of the Candakumara jataka when Indra descends from heaven and intervenes to prevent the sacrifice to the gods taking palce, by destroying the multi-tiered umbrellas. Khandahala, the unprincipled chief court Brahmin, is seen in the top right corner while King Ekaraja is depicted below trying to flee on an elephant. The righteous Prince Candakumara depicted with a halo is seatedin the background overlooking the scene.
Dazu Rock Carving is located in the Dazu District in Chongqing City. Sichuan Province which has the reputation of the “Land of Stone Carving”. The Dazu rock carving was originally carved in the early Tang Dynasty (649 A.D.) and it was listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage in 1999.

Guanyin or Kuan Yin, the most commonly used Chinese translation of the bodhisattva known as Avalokitesvara. Guanyin is the Buddhist bodhisattva associated with compassion.
The Samantabhadra ("Universal Worthy") is a bodhisattva in Mahayana Buddhism associated with practice and meditation.
