Stamp featuring the Phassad Pheng is a wax stupa model covered with flowers, money and offerings, built to venerate Buddha and his teachings. In some Buddhist festivals, such as the New Year Festival in Luang Prabang, a procession of people holding a Phassad Pheng is held. In the end of the procession, the offerings are offered to the temple monks.
