Tham Ting Cave
Tham Ting Cave also known as Pak Oo Caves  / “Holly Caves” where local people will get together during water festival or by local passengers/boat men who travel up and down the Mekong suppose to stop there for s short worship for good luck and short break. They are noted for their impressive Lao style Buddha sculptures assembled over the centuries by local people and pilgrims. Hundreds of mostly wooden Buddhist figures are laid out over the floors and wall shelves. They take many different positions, including meditation, teaching, peace, rain, and reclining (nirvana). Tham Ting contains over 3,000 Buddhas for both lower and upper cave.
