1. In front of Kamikochi , the magnificent Hotaka mountain range is narrow, and the clear stream of the Azusa River is flowing with a refreshing sound. It is a typical mountain scenic spot in Japan.
2. Blossom field in the spring of Kita Shinano. The blossoms are in full bloom along the Chikuma River, and it is sung in "Oborozukiyo" written by Tatsuyuki Takano (from Nagano Prefecture) as the original scenery of his hometown.
3. Anrakuji Octagonal Three-storied Pagoda. The only octagonal three-storied pagoda in Japan, built in the style of Zen Buddhism (Tang) during the Song dynasty of China, is designated as a national treasure.
4. Matsumoto Castle Fukashi Castle, which was built during the Warring States period, is the oldest castle in Japan among the existing five-story and six-story castle towers.It is designated as a national treasure.
5. Manji Stone Buddha
Located behind the Suwa Taisha Shrine Harumiya, it is a unique stone Buddha with its head resting on a hemispherical natural stone with a height of about 2 m.
