The Tottori Prefecture is located in the Chugoku region of Honshu. Its capital city is Tottori City. Tottori Prefecture is the least populous prefecture in Japan and home to the famous Tottori Sand Dunes, Japan's only large sand dune system.
There are many notable places in Tottori Prefecture, among them the Tottori Sand Dunes, Mt. Daisen, Mukibanda Yayoi Period Settlement Remains, Lake Nakaumi, and Uradome Coast Line.
