Malaria Eradication – Prepared, Disapproved and Unissued

Three stamps were designed in 1962–63 by Harrison & Sons, London, for Bhutan’s Malaria Eradication program. The designs, showing the Buddha alongside mosquito eradication, were rejected as both religiously inappropriate and insensitive, making their issue impossible.
