Yakushi-ji Temple is a Buddhist temple located in Nishinokyo-cho, Nara City, Nara . This temple is one of the Seven Great Temples of Nara. In the Honzon of Toin-do Hall the designated title 'Dozo Kannon Bosatsu Ryuzo' (standing bronze statue of Kannon Bosatsu) is officially used in the list of National Treasures. The statue is about 189 centimeters high and this statue counts among the most important hard metal Buddha statues from the Nara period. |
